I do computer things for work and this blog will no-doubt contain content in that vein.

As for non-code things I am an amateur mixologist, home cook and motorcycle enjoyer.

I split my time between beautiful Krabi in southern Thailand and Melbourne, Australia.

I have founded a startup, worked at other startups, lived through numerous acquisitions, worked full time on FOSS and over the years have hacked on every part of the stack from kernel drivers through to slinging frontend code.

While I have worked on nearly everything I’m most at home working on backend, data-oriented, distributed systems and I intend to mostly write about such things here.
